Good Burmese Mandalay standing Buddha, 1853-1948, in gilt and lacquer wood, with top knot and curled hair, with extremely well carved face, with lobed ears and sash falling from shoulder, accented with glass cabochon, with one hand in pose holding pearl by side, the other holding robe, raised on circular foot, on wooden plinth on secondary ebonised plinth, height 128 cm (figure).
