Lalique Tete d'Aigle paperweight, in clear and frosted glass, raised on a circular base, engraved Lalique, France to base, height 11 cm note: the original tete d'aigle was designed by Rene Lalique in 1928 as an 'Auto mascot' hood ornament and mounted on the radiator cap of luxury cars. It was produced into the 1930s. After World War II production resumed as a paperweight using the original mold.
