A Qing Dynasty Blue and White Garden Seat the large beaker vase shape decorated with four panels of traditional and auspicious flowers representing the four seasons; winter prunus, spring peony, summer lotus and autumn chrysanthemum, each panel separated by a prunus decorated pierced round coins, below encircling bands of ruyi heads and vertical plantain leaf design or jiaoyewen. The seat decorated with a camellia enclosed by diaper and flower head motifs. Circa 1850. Note; seat rim chip. Height 50 cm.
