A George II sterling silver spirit kettle on stand, 1734 London, with maker's mark for Thomas Mason, the fine spirit kettle with a plain globular body, a gadrooned border to the rim and a cane work swing handle with shell mounts, the domed cover with globular ebony finial, raised on a tripod circular stand and burner with scrolled supports and legs terminating in shell feet, marked to the underside of both kettle and stand.
