A large cloisonne enamel and gilt-bronze tripod censer and cover on stand, Qianlong period mark, the impressive globular lobed body densely enamelled with various shaped reserves applied with bronze guardian lions upon could patterned polychrome grounds, divided by trailing foliage and flower heads on turquoise ground, raised on three splayed legs emerging from taotie masks, and resting on a large shaped stand of lotus flower blooms and chilong finial, the domed and pierced cover with gilt bronze lion finial above twin upright handles, with a Qianlong period mark underside.
