A large Victorian silver salver, maker's mark indistinct, London 1840, the well cast deeply scrolled border with shell cartouche and foliate decoration, with conforming engraved decoration and a coat of arms to the centre with the motto 'Hinc Fortior Et Clarior', on leaf cast scroll feet.
