A George II silver jug, maker's mark of Richard Bayley, London 1732, the plain tapering cylindrical body with ribbed girdle, the stepped domed cover cast with scroll thumbpiece, scroll handle with heart shaped terminal on moulded foot (adapted from a tankard), engraved to base with initials Hw and scratch weight 27-16.
