Carlton: 1982 bronze premiership medal by Andor Meszaros (who also designed the 1956 Melbourne Olympics medals), with a footballer to the obverse, reverse showing the names of players in their positions, surrounded by 'Victorian Football League : Carlton : Premiers : 1982'. Carlton finished the home-and-away rounds in 3rd position on the ladder with 16 wins, 1 draw and 5 losses. Carlton went on to defeat Hawthorn in the Preliminary Final and Richmond in the Grand Final, with 107,536 fans at the MCG. Provenance: Presented to a member of the Carlton Board on the occasion of winning the 1982 Premiership.
