Stem wind lever movement, 3/4 plate back signed and numbered and marked 'AD.Fmsz'. Signed white enamel dial, Roman numerals, railtrack minutes sunk subs seconds at VI. Total weight 106gm. From 1850 the majority of the finest Frodsham watches were marked 'AD.Fmsz', a cryptogram for the year AD1850. The code formed by the numerical sequence of the letters in 'Frodsham', with a 'Z' for zero.
