A Russian enamel egg, a rare gilt silver cloisonne enamel egg, having 84 Russian mark that is combined with Moscow city mark 1882-1899 and crafted by Ivan Khlebnikov 1867-1871. The egg separates in two haves and is profusely decorated in polychrome enamels with four panels showing swans and having scrolled floral designs on pale blue ground. There are nine cabochon cut lapis lazuli gems incorporated into the design and the egg is seated on a ball footed stand marked with a second Kokoshnik mark Moscow 1908- 1926
