A large Russian sugar bowl, having a bulbous form, with fluted lower panels, two blank cartouches, a stepped circular pedestal base, complete with a hinged lid and oak leaf / acorn finial. Finished with scrolled twin handles and a gilt interior. Stamped with 84 mark, assay by Aleksandr Nikolayevich Milin. St Petersburg 1861.
