An excellent and rare Russian samovar, a very unique item, in superb condition, beautifully crafted, in 84 Russian silver, by famous silversmith, Iwersen a Christian. Assay master Mikail Mikhailovich Karpinshii. St Petersburg 1828. Having a domed, stepped, gadrooned lid, with gadrooned ebonized wooden finial. Twin ornate scrolled handles, a stepped top section with floral garland borders, bold gadrooned bowl, terminating in a floral garland border, decorative folate legs, having scrolled feet, sitting on a concave stepped base, with multi gadrooned finish and floral garland borders, with scalloped bun feet.
