A pale celadon jade covered vase, late Qing dynasty, of rounded rectangular section set on the waisted neck with two foliate scroll handles and supported on a high waisted foot, flanked on one side with a figure of Guanyin supported on clouds, wearing loose robes and trailing scarf, the other side with a phoenix perched on a rocky ledge, the tail plumes rising in pierced relief, the whitish stone with small areas of russet suffusions, 10.5 cm high
