A hand decorated and floral encrusted bowl and cover, marked Meissen, probably Edme Samson of Paris, 19th century, of lobed and compressed form with a similar cover and a finial in the form of a crown resting on a cushion, with extravagant mask head flying handles and raised on scroll feet, decorated with scenes, and floral swags on a pink white and teal striped ground picked out in gilt, faint impressed mark 225 underside and Marcolini style Meissen mark, 22.5 cm high, 33 cm wide, 20 cm deep
