Two mourning brooches, early 19th century, including a brooch centring a glazed panel containing a locket of hair within a surround of faceted black garnet, the reverse inscribed 'Mary Lapworth died 18th July 1815 aged 57', length 23 mm, width 26 mm, and a brooch centring a panel of mother-of-pearl within a circular-cut garnet and seed pearl surround, length 18 mm, width 21 mm.
