A sterling silver 'The fox and the Crow' embossed case, apparently unmarked, X-ray tested .925 silver, the small rectangular case or box, with a finely embossed and chased hinged cover illustrating Aesop's fable in a framed reserve with foliate scrolls and cornucopias to each corner, opening to a gilt interior, unmarked, possibly French after La Fontaine's 'Le Corbeau et le Renard'.
