An English black basalt hexagonal teapot and cover, circa 1805, the fine Wedgwood-style teapot with a captive domed lid and finial, the body relief moulded with classical figures within columns and arches, framed by grapevine reserves, an arcaded lower section and borders of swags and classical key, with a domed internal drainer, unmarked.
