A 19th century French Ormolu and Sevres-type mantel clock, the porcelain urn-form body with goat head side mounts, the lid with flaming urn finial above two birds perched to the edge. The dial with Roman numerals framing the flying cherub. The oval base with scroll and pedestal supports highlighted with a floral garland. The quality French movement striking on a bell. Some faults to the porcelain, height 50.5 cm.
