A pair of large ship's copper port and starboard lanterns plus mahogany pulley reel, reputedly from the S.S. Rondebosch which was shipwrecked in a storm at the Umvoti River mouth in South Africa, March 9th, 1959. The lanterns with traditional curved ribbed glass, angled backs and brass fittings including maker's plaque, height 64.5 cm. The large mahogany reel carved with the ship's details, diameter 25 cm.
