Late 19th/early 20th century French silver snuff box, marked 950, with makers mark (possibly Alexandre Chailloux, Paris), of rectangular form, the hinged cover with central plain rectangular reserve, surrounded by continuous engine turned decoration to sides and base, total weight 80gm, 2 cm x 9 cm x 3.5 cm. Provenance: collection of the late Fredric Sinfield, Sydney NSW, 1938 - 2008
