19th century French silver niello snuff box and cover, marked French silver and maker rubbed, of slender rectangular form, the inset cover decorated with a scene of cattle, figures and cottage possibly after Louis Moreau, the lower and base decorated with complex geometric motif, total weight 84gm, length 7.5 cm.
