A rare Japanese Kenjo-Imari twelve sided bowl, Edo period (1603-1868), 1688-1704, moulded with twelve sides and an everted rim, decorated to the interior in underglaze blue, enamels and gilding with a landscape roundel, the cavetto with shaped reserves against a diaper ground, the reverse decorated with flower sprays in Mughal Indian style. 6 cm high, 24.5 cm diameter. Provenance: Purchased from Chamberlain Antiques, New England, 2000s..
