A fine Chinese white jade dragon belt plaque, Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), the rectangular plaque very finely carved from even-hued greenish-white jade with deep openwork and fine surface chasing with a writhing four-clawed dragon amongst scrolling foliage, flowers and interlocking Buddhist symbols. 5.5 cm high, 8.5 cm wide, 1 cm deep.
