A fine Chinese burnished black Pottery Lifan amphora, Sichuan Province, Han Dynasty (202BC-220AD), beautifully modelled with swirling arms continuing into spiral decoration to the front and reverse, incised banded line decoration to the neck, subtle helix carving to the arms, and incised endless knot decoration to the base, the surface finely burnished.
