A fine Japanese silver & lacquer shibayama vase, Meiji period (1868-1912), with elongated neck and fluted rim, highlighted with coloured enamels, six kinji lacquer ground panels decorated with flowers inlaid with shell, mother of pearl, ivory and tortoise shell raised on a flared foot with floral cut-aways and decorated with further coloured enamel, with incised mark on a lacquer panel, Hideyuki, 17.5 cm high
