Description:
George Sempagala, three stoneware mugs, with the potter's mark impressed to the foot; together with another mug and a pair of goblets, these are unmarked but attributed also to George Sempagala, sizes vary, height 12.5 cm max, note: the Ugandan potter George Sempagala studied with Michael Cardew in Abuja during the early 1960s. In the 1990s he worked in New Zealand at diving creek Potteries with Barry Brickell.
