Len Castle, rare and early mallet shaped bottle vase, coarse stoneware made with West coast sand added to the clay, a blue band to the slightly ribbed body, impressed potter's cypher to the foot, height 23 cm, note: Len Castle confirmed to the current owner that this bottle was made in the 1950s at his Westmere kiln.
