A slab built vase by Alexander Campbell, 1982, New Zealand. Made from porcelain. A cubic form with gradual flare towards the base. With appliques of hands on the sides of the form. Decorated with abstract designs with hand-painted oxides in the porcelain, layered slip and salt glaze. The lid is incised with the word 'Handsel'. Incised signature to the base underside, height 24 cm, width 21 cm, depth 21.7 cm
