A French slate and marble mantle clock, 19th century the clock with a white enamel dial with Roman numerals, minute markings and a gilded bezel, flanked by rouge marble half-columns, within a plinth with flat rectangular top and extended base, the front incised with gilt floral sprays and rouge marble trim, the brass movement unmarked, with key and pendulum, height 27 cm, width 24.5 cm, depth 15 cm
