Rare 1914 dome cased sterling silver New Zealand display, comprising a central tree holding a resin egg topped by a moa standing on fern leaves, a Maori in the tree trying to snare a huia, his spear leaning on a trunk, the base with a kiwi, tuatara, flax bush, silver ferns and 2 greenstone rocks, signed with initials Rdp (possibly Robert partridge of Christchurch) sterling silver mark and dated 14, on an oval ebonised base, 42 cm high
