Gold and amethyst bracelet, circa 1850; composed of six hinged plaques, each centring a claw-set oval-shaped amethyst upon a decorative applied surround of scroll and foliate motif, the amethysts together weighing approximately 52.65 carats, the end link with two push clasps is detachable, mounted in 18ct gold, length 82 mm, width 26 mm, total gross weight approximately 39 grams.
