Gold ruby and diamond brooch, circa 1890; the cluster bar brooch centring a claw-set oval-shaped ruby weighing approximately 0.56 carats, within a surround of old round-cut diamonds flanked by a pair of bow motifs, each accented with a ruby and variously cut diamonds, completed by a safety chain with ruby set pin, mounted in silver and 9ct gold with a low carat gold brooch pin, length 50 mm, total gross weight approximately 6 grams.
