A fine Sino-Tibetan gilt-bronze figure of Amitayus, Kangxi period (1662-1722). The figure is shown seated in dhyanasana on a double-petaled lotus base, with his hands in dhyanamudra. His face with a serene expression flanked by foliage earrings and surmounted by a five-peaked ornate tiara. Three characters 'Shang, Shi' and 'Shi', translated as 'Upper ten' and 'ten' are inscribed on the base.
