An impressive Colonial Australian cedar fold-over card table. Handsomely crafted in choice cuts of cedar with cross banded edge, cross grained ogee moulded frieze, finely carved and turned column, platform base and scrolling feet, Tasmanian origin, circa 1840s. Workmanship of this quality and design can most likely be attributed to William Champion of Hobart Town. 74 cm high, 92 cm wide, 46 cm deep
