18ct yellow gold, handmade, vintage brooch in the shape of a domed drop-shape, made up of radiating curved wires and decorated with eight small round cut sapphires of reported total weight 0.50 carats, surrounding an oval cut sapphire in the centre of reported weight 1.40 carats. Secured with hinged pin and bayonetted-type catch. Finished weight 15.30 grams. Gemmologist's report.
