Attractive plates of elevations, details, plans, for recent cottages and small apartment blocks in polychromatic brick; [Waterhouse, Alfred] Axon, William Editor, an architectural and general description of the town hall, Manchester. To which is added a report of the inaugural proceedings, September 1877, London and Manchester: Abel Heywood & Son, 1878, frontispiece portrait of Waterhouse, double-page tinted litho plate a general view of the new town hall, 9 litho plates of architectural views and details, 4 other plates, XI, 1, 97, 1pp, all edges gilt, folio 38 x 25 cm, publisher's elaborately gilt cloth, a little wear to tips and spine ends. Internally fine.
