Russian silver and niello cigarette case, marked 84 kokoshnik (1896-1908), Moscow, maker 'Ch' (possibly Sergei Ivanovich Nazarov), of rounded rectangular form with spring push button clasp, the cover decorated with architectural scene within a stylised foliate border, similarly decorated to underside with a shield shaped reserve on a cross hatched ground, with gilt wash interior, total weight 144gm, 11 cm x 7.5 cm x 2.5 cm
