Rare and important Faberge silver samovar, marked workmaster Stephen Vakeva (Wakeva), assayer A.Sever, St. Petersburg 1894, of handsome lobed form, engraved with monogram and coronet to body, flanked by a pair of beaded and scrolled arms, with ivory buttons and spigot ring, resting upon a circular base inscribed in Cyrillic '20th April 1894 from your brothers' (translation), the whole resting upon four shell and scroll feet, with gilt interior and chimney, with images of original catalogue from Sotheby's, total weight 4217gm, 46 cm x 31 cm.
