A 'Chicoree' bronze and glass chandelier by Louis Majorelle, C.1905, the chandelier modelled with sinuous whiplash decoration and chicory flowers and leaves, issuing four small branches above four larger branches with a single pendant-light centred below, height 124.5 cm, diameter 101.5 cm. Provenance: Dr. Vauthey, Vichy, France, 1906. Christie's London, May 12 1999, lot 389. Christie's New York, the property of a Utah Collector, 13 June 2003, lot 228.
