A Meissen porcelain large cup, circa 1735, of ovoid outline with plain handle, finely painted with Chinoiserie scenes in the manner of J.G. Horoldt, one reserve with an artist in a garden painting a lady's portrait watched by others, the other with two men watching two women bathing, both within gilt and purple borders and coloured scrolls, gilt rim, and footrim, apparently unmarked with paper label '7717' to underside, height 10.8 cm, diameter 10.5 cm
