A fine pair of bronze ormolu Sevres comports, 19th century, c1865 each finely hand decorated with a pastoral romantic scene medallion to a gilt enriched floral and ribbon border, upon a turquoise ground and housed in bronze ormolu mounts with scrolling acanthus leaves handles and beaded borders, supported on fluted stems upon octagonal bases, bearing painted Sevres blue interlaced Ls mark and underglaze green 'S.65' date marks for 1865 to the underside. Height 17 cm, width 25 cm, diameter 19 cm
