A signed Chinese carved ivory tusk on stand, Qing Dynasty, 19th century in the form of a gently curved trunk raft, deeply carved on one side with figures variously occupied, the prow with dragon head holding a pearl in its pierced mouth, the other side relief carved with storks and winged turtles, engraved with maker's mark 'Xiao Gu Dao', raised on a carved and pierced wooden stand.
