A late Victorian 'Mappin & Webb' mahogany longcase clock, circa 1890, the 11' broken-arch dial signed 'Mappin & Webb London Paris Rome', gilt engraved with silvered chapter ring and gilt Arabic numerals, with subsidiary seconds and chime/silent selection dial, in moulded broken-arch mahogany case with reeded columns and pilasters, the trunk with astragal glazed door to an extended box base, the movement striking tubular chimes, complete with weights, pendulum, chimes and winder.
