A Victorian walnut and mahogany writing slope, 19th century of typical rectangular form with brass shield vacant cartouche and matching escutcheon, the lock with key of conforming style, with shaped brass capping to the corners and banding to the edges, opening to a black tooled leather writing plane (later), with fitted compartments, pen tray and original glass ink pots with brass stoppers.
