1975-1977, the original Oregon Waffles track shoe by Nike, styled in nylon, leather, rubber, and cotton in Oregon ducks colorway, tongue label features Nike's first orange Swoosh logo, produced in Fukuoka Japan. Mens US size 8, the Oregon Waffles were the first model to be sold publicly. Created by bill Bowerman, an American track and field coach for University of Oregon and co-founder of Nike. This shoe model is one of the most important in the history of Nike.
