Delft, Water Jar, 1696, wheel-thrown earthenware, flattened front and back, the sides with several handles for attaching rope, white tin glaze with blue oxide decoration, the front of a lady surrounded by a border of acanthus leaves, the back with a medallion of acanthus leaves around the date, several chips and some handles missing (A/F), height 35 cm.
