Tarts of London (active 1755-90). 53 mm case with wiggle-work engraved borders and floral bouquet engraved to back, spring concealed winding hole to case back. Fret cut fancy silver dial with engraved maker's name, Roman hours and Arabic minutes. Fusee verge, gilded movement with maker's name and numbered 12164, full plate with baluster pillars, pierced cock balance on two supports.
