A Napoleon III side cabinet in boulle manner, third quarter 19th century, of serpentine bow front outline, the top with moulded edge and frieze above a central cabinet door flanked by glazed doors enclosing removable shelves, on a plinth base, ebonized overall with reserves to the frieze, central door, and pilasters of cut brass inlaid in the scarlet simulated tortoiseshell ground, bronze mouldings and mounts throughout, 115 cm high, 208 cm wide, 57 cm deep
