A Meissen porcelain mythological Chariot group of Apollo, model no. 3, late 19th century, the sun god wearing a cloak fastened at his shoulder, seated in a chariot drawn by four prancing horses among clouds bursting with sun beams, his putto attendant holding golden devices, the stepped lobed base moulded with bands of flutes and flower heads, an applied laurel garland suspended from gilt rings below, 30 cm high, 48 cm wide, 23 cm deep
