A large Cantonese export ivory puzzle ball and carved stand, late Qing, early 20th century the sphere carved to the exterior with roses amidst trailing foliage and enclosing approximately fifteen more spheres, each pierced with a geometric pattern, on a stand carved with figures on a rocky outcrop, and raised on an openwork foliate base, with wooden stand and fitted silk lined case.
